We will be using a modified version of the National Estate System. In our system characters have to have land given to them either by local Nobility or ruling goverment. There is also the possiablity that characters may earn land in other ways In Character.

There are a few elements that decide the effectiveness of an estate. The following is a definetion of these terms:
Land - All buildings require space to build on. Currently all buildings are set to .5 Acres. New buildings are not able to be built until the character has enough land to build upon it.
Estate Bank - The estate bank holds the current funds available to your estate. Characters marked as Managers can move gold to and from their banks to the Estate bank.
Yield - This is the maxium amount of gold that a structure can output.
Maxium Works - Maxium number of workers a structure can support. The more workers a structure has the higher the yield will be (up to the maxium).
Worker Type/Cost - Some structures can have diffrent types of workers. For example,Barricks can house either Millita or Soldiers. Soldiers cost more to train and house.
- The cost for workers is:
- Soldier - 1 Gold per month
- Millitia - 5 Silver per month
- Peasent - 5 Copper per month
Upkeep - Upkeep for each structure is the total cost to pay its workers. For instance, if a structure has 10 Peasents it would have an upkeep of 5 silver per month.
Each month the total yeild generated is determined by dividing the Max Yield by Current Workers. From the total the Upkeep is then subtracted
Example: (25 Silver (Max Yield) / 10 Workers (Max Workers) ) x 10 Current Workers - 5 Upkeep = 20 Silver for Monthly Yield
Monthly Event - Each month a random event is generated, examples are "Good Weather", "Bad Weather", "Troll Attack". This events effect the output of structures. In the worse case reducing the output down to 25%.
Example:
Rob the Evil has an estate with an Apothecary and Brewery. He has Max Workers as Pesents. And this month was a "Good Weather Month".
| Structure | Build Cost (Silver) | Starting Cost (Silver) | Max Yield (Silver) | Max Workers | Workers | Worker Type | Current Yield (Silver) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apothecary (Potions) | 250 | 250 | 25 | 5 | 5 | Peasent | 22.5 | |
| Brewery | 250 | 500 | 37.5 | 8 | 8 | Peasent | 33.5 |
So his total yield this month is 55 silver.
Defense Raiting - All estates have a defense raiting. Some buildings and upgrades will help boost this raiting. Besides the raiting for buildings workers also boost the raiting. The chart below shows the boost each type of worker gives.
- Peasent - 0 Defensive
- Militia - 1/per worker
- Soldier - 2/per worker
When an attack is used against an estate the attackers Attack rating is compaired to the estates defensive raiting to determine to amount the event effects the yeild.
